Hello! My name is Kristi Donaldson, and this is my 10th year with the Whitewright ISD family. I grew up in the Texas panhandle and earned my BBA from Texas Tech University. My husband, Joe, is a fellow Red Raider and a registered architect. We have three awesome children, who have all attended or are attending Whitewright ISD. Jolie recently earned her BS in Molecular Biology from Wayland Baptist University and will be teaching biology and coaching at WHS this year. Larry Joe passed away during his sophomore year of high school, and Will is a senior at WHS.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach 2nd grade at this great school! Your students will study a variety of processes and skills, as outlined in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills objectives. Their ability to solve and tackle increasingly complex questions is a critical skill that will help them as they move forward with their education, and, as such, we will also be focusing on developing academic strategies and fostering a growth mindset in our students. They should have an amazing year!
Please feel free to contact me anytime at kristi.donaldson@wwisd.com. I look forward to working with this great group of students and pray that we all have a great year at Whitewright ISD!
