The 2024-25 school year begins my 17th year at Whitewright ISD and my 18^th year in education.  My academic assignment is 8^th US History.  Also, I coach 7th and 8th girls volleyball, basketball, and track, and high school track.  For the 2013-14  and the 2019-2020 school years, I was awarded the Whitewright Middle School Teacher of the Year.

I was raised in Whitewright and attended Whitewright Schools all my life.  My collegiate playing experience includes 2 years of basketball at Grayson County College and one year at the University of Texas at Arlington.  I graduated from Tarleton State University in 1996 with a degree in Human Resource Management. I received my 4-8 Social Studies teaching certificate from Collin County Alternative Teaching Certification program in 2007.
