Pre-Kindergarten
Whitewright ISD offers a free, full day, eligibility-based Pre-Kindergarten program for qualifying students.
- The first step in the Pre-K enrollment process is to confirm your child's eligibility.
- Pre-K enrollment for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year opens on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
- Once you complete the temporary application, enroll your child through The Parent Portal and upload all required documents, you will receive an email so you will know we have received your enrollment.
- You will need the following documents to complete the enrollment process. Your child’s file will not be marked as complete until we have everything listed below.
* Child's Birth Certificate
* Child's Social Security Card
* Child's Immunization Records or Immunization Exemption Form
* Parent's Driver's License or State issued photo ID
* Proof of Residency (current light, water or gas bill)
* PK ONLY - Proof of Income (latest 4 pay stubs for all working adults)
* SNAP Food Service EDG Number - if you receive food service through SNAP, we will need a copy of your letter showing your status is current.
